OK, you're cynical. Neil Innes finest http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JTy_YkoJi8&feature=related

Viv Stanshall would have been a more convincing leader than Cameron though.

Viv would be better than anyone ! The Bonzo Dog Band are one of the most under-appreciated bands in music history .

This is true ! I've tried to explain this to our U.S. cousins here, and even those who enjoy Monty Python are somehow immune to works of genius such as 'My pink half of the drainpipe' or 'Mr Apollo'.

It' odd, I have had the same problem . You figure that some one who likes Python, and the Beatles would get the Bonzos .(though their humor is more Palin, than Clesse i.e. more the "fish slapping dance", than the "parrot sketch")
Love "My Pink Half of the Drainpipe", now that would have been a great Python skit . There are so many delectably weird moments in their songs, I was just thinking about in the beginning of "We Are Normal", you can hear someone say in the background " He's like a rabbit,he's got a head on him like a rabbit ".
